Tell your children how and when to call 9-1-1 for help. Post other emergency telephone numbers by phones in your home.
Help your children learn more about emergencies. Go to www.fema.gov/kids/ where they can learn what causes disasters, play games, read stories and become a Disaster Action Kid.
Look for weekly email tips from Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Program for more information about emergency preparedness. You may also contact program staff by sending an email to HSSSolanoResponds@solanocounty.com or by calling 784-8612.
